Taai-Taai
Description
A chewy dutch treat.Ingredients
- 1 Cup honey
- 1 Cup Syrup or brown sugar
- 1 Cup water
- 3½ Cups flour
- 1 tsp ground aniseed
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions
- Combine honey, syrup/sugar, and water, heat and then allow to cool
- Add in remaining ingredients and mix well
- Pour onto a baking sheet and bake at 325℉ for 30-40 minutes, until golden-brown
- Cool on a rack and then cut into squares

- Store in a cool, dry place
