Oma's Meatballs
Description
Oma's old-style meatballs.Ingredients
- 1 Lb ground beef
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 egg
- ½ Cup bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp evaprated milk
- ½ Cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
- Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
- Roll into 2 inch balls
- Roast at 350℉ until a meat thermometer registers done (about 30 minutes)
- Sear in a skillet for added color, then finish by simmering in beef broth (about 900 mL) for 20 minutes

- Adjust seasonings to taste
- Sear and simmer step is optional
