Cabbage Salad

Description

A cool summer salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1 onion, grated
  • ½ Cup vinegar
  • ½ Cup oil
  • ¾ Cup sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp celery seed

Directions

  1. Combine the vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, and celery seed in a pan and bring to a boil for 2 minutes
  2. Combine the cabbage, carrots, and onion in a salad bowl. Pour over with the sauce and refrigerate

Notes

  1. Keeps for over a week in the fridge.
