Sausage Stuffing
Description
A stuffing served up during Christmas and Thanksgiving.Ingredients
- 3 Lbs. sausage meat
- 8 Cups bread crumbs
- 2 Cups chopped celery
- 2 Cups sliced mushrooms
- 1½ Cups chopped onions
- 2 Cups corn nibblets
- 2 tsp ground sage
- 2 tsp thyme
- ¾ tsp pepper
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ Cup parsley
- 1 Cup water
Directions
- Brown the sausage meat in a large skillet
- Add celery, mushrooms, and onion, cooking until the onion is tender
- Add water and bring to a boil
- Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl
- Add sausage mixture to the bowl and mix well
- Bake at 350℉ for 45 minutes
